As you play more you unlock faster cars and harder AI and tracks and gets addicting pretty fast. So you could say this game isn't for hardcore racing gamers because it has very arcade like controls and you can destroy the other racers very easily (at least in the beginning). I never got into a racing game as much as I did with this game. This was the first racing game I loved playing. I bought this game out of pure nostalgia. I love the fact it's backwards compatible with the xbox 360 which is what I play the game on. Burnout 3 looks to surpass its predecessors by utilizing a new graphics engine, and by its ability to provide motoring mayhem to the masses online.
